Bio:
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, I am a New York City based photographer using traditional darkroom techniques to document underrepresented perspectives, specifically within my own diaspora as a Black and Trinidadian American.
I studied Fine Art at Pace University with a concentration in video and graduated in May of 2020. I took classes and was a teaching assistant at the International Center of Photography from 2018-2020. In 2019 I received a grant to research and document the effects of highways and municipal neglect on familiar neighborhoods in Baltimore.
In 2023 I began using a darkroom to make prints. Working in a darkroom again begun a rebirth of technique and style that has grounded my work in truth, tangibility, and investigation.
